The best way to reduce stress in your life is to understand where it comes from. It doesn’t come from the stressful situations and people in your life. It comes from YOUR THOUGHTS about the situations (and people) in your life. You don’t have control about all the thoughts that pour into your head during the course of a day (about 70,000 thoughts per day), but you DO have control over which thoughts you allow to remain in your head.
If you have a stressful feeling, you’re having stressful thoughts. You don’t need to analyze why you’re having those thoughts. You just let them go. When you let unwanted thoughts go, new thoughts will replace them. If the same thoughts keep coming back, and you practice getting rid of them, soon, new, different, more creative thoughts and insights will flow into you.
