At Boothbay Region Health Center, we are an independent, community health center run by patients, for patients. We provide primary care for people who live, work, and spend time on the Boothbay peninsula and surrounding islands.
We believe everyone deserves access to quality health care. For patients without health insurance, we try to minimize the cost of care to the best of our ability. We also accept Medicare, MaineCare, and most commercial health insurance plans carried by local residents and employees.
Our goal is to help you get well, stay well, and feel supported along the way. We care for common illnesses and injuries, including colds, flu, sore throats, wounds, infections, and urinary tract infections. We also help patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, congestive heart failure, asthma, and mental health concerns.
In addition, we provide women’s health, reproductive health, and family planning services for girls and women.
While we are not an urgent care center, we know that health needs can come up unexpectedly. When you have a condition that needs prompt attention, we will do our best to see you the same day you call or come in.
