May 2: Hats for Health Party at Mine Oyster

Join us on Friday May 7th for the 3rd Annual Hats for Health Fundraiser for the Boothbay Region Health Center! Prizes will be given for the best hats! (Health Theme optional). The party venue is Mine Oyster in Boothbay Harbor, with festivities kicking off at 5 PM. Tickets are $75/person and are for sale at the Health Center (which is open 8 to 4:30 every weekday) and at Hawke Motors. The ticket price includes dinner and live entertainment courtesy of the School Street Band. There is a cash bar and there will be a silent auction with fabulous items.

 

As a community we can:

1. Take local control of our primary health service.

2. Establish a patient-driven primary care practice model

3. Increase access and use primary health care services appropriately.

4. Make both individual and community-wide choices that will result in improved health status.

1. Get a higher percentage of the population into an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider.

2. Reduce perhaps by half the number of unnecessary Emergency Department and Urgent Care visits.

3. Achieve a demonstrable improvement in the health status of the community.
