WANTED: Medical Receptionist
Part-Time (3 Days/wk) or Full-Time Position available to someone who already lives on the Boothbay peninsula. Hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Mon-thru Wed (for 3 days), with an occasional Saturday fill-in. Or 8 to 4:30 5 Days/week. We are looking for someone who already has experience working in a busy medical office, checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays and payments, working with an EMR system (ours is NextGen Office), and, above all, taking requests for Prescription Refills accurately. Needs to be warm, compassionate, and also happy to make outbound calls to remind patients of upcoming appointments or to fill a gap quickly when there’s a no show. The Boothbay Region Health Center is looking for someone that would like to make a difference in your community and build a career. Work with an exceptional group of providers and other health coordinators to room patients, do lab work, and assist with care coordination. Assist Primary Care Providers in patient care and coordination. Take vital signs, room patients, draw labs, check insurance authorizations, make referrals, follow up.
